Welcome to Covenant of Hope Ministries and our combined written and live Sunday sermon, which is normally broadcast every Sunday. I am Rev. Laura A. Neff. Our ministry was built on the truth of God’s love, sharing the Word of God, the Spirit of Jesus Christ in a way that we believe embraces the ways Jesus taught us to manage. We bring His Word to the many as opposed to the few, in order to continue the legacy created by the ministry of Jesus Christ.

Prayer List: We have many on our prayer list. Some wish to remain anonymous, and others only wish to have their first names mentioned. Our prayer list grows or changes every week. This is our current list.
- We pray for those who were lost in the two plane crashes this past week and for all those who lost their loved ones in these crashes.
- We continue our prayers for Evangelist Cal Jennings, that his health becomes steadier than it has been for far too long. We pray that his medical needs are fully met, and he has all that he requires for comfort and peace.
- We continue our prayers for JB and EB as they navigate through the maze of medical tests and specialists to get all the answers they need in both of their health issues. They have too much red tape and confusion going on with their issues between insurance and doctor appointments. They are frustrated with the runaround they have been getting with the various referrals.
- We continue to pray for a friend of ours, Erica, who is in desperate need to improve her current situation and has set up a site for donations to help her with this. If you want more information, send me a private message and I’ll pass on the information.
- We continue to pray for my sister Emilie, who currently has the flu and is preparing to move across the country this week at the same time.
- We pray for my son-in-law, Douglas, who has been diagnosed with sleep apnea and has a lot of adjustments to get used to.
- We continue with our prayers for my niece Autumn, who has been suffering seizures due to a head injury from a car crash.
- We continue to pray for my Mama who has had a lot of anxiety issues lately. Her car ended up being totaled after the fender-bender. This combined with the fact she misses my father as he passed away three years ago due to COVID-19 has made it a tough year for her.
- We continue to pray for all sufferers and survivors of the various types of cancer, including two survivors of the disease, my Aunt Donna and my friend Kelly, and my friend Erica as well.
- We pray for those who are in the path of dangerous weather around this world, as well as those who are picking up the pieces after the very dangerous storms we have had over the past few months. This includes the arctic blast of winter weather and also the terrible wildfires that are consuming millions of acres of land, homes, and businesses as well.
- We pray for those who have suffered earthquakes around this world this past week, as there were several recorded with a variety of magnitudes.
- We pray for the various outreach ministries we have joined with, with their leaders, Pastor Stephen Okoth, Pastor Simon Peter Javaji, Pastor Amir Aneel, Sister Santhi Swaroopa, Pastor Duke Moenga, and others in Kissee, Nairobi, and other places in Kenya, Pakistan, and India.
- We pray also for our American outreach ministries, including Rev. Lisa Tyler on the other side of Georgia from where I am and Rabbi Karen L. Hertzog with her ministry, Way Maker Messianic Jewish and Christian Center – USA as well.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today in thanksgiving for the many wonders you provide us. We pray for those who have been sick and need serious medical assistance. We pray for those who have been fighting cancer or have defeated this evil disease. We pray for those who lost their loved ones in the two major plane crashes this past week. We pray for the lost on these two terrible flights that shattered the calm on this earth. We pray for those caught in the middle of dangerous natural disasters including wildfires and earthquakes around the world. We pray for the economy worldwide. We pray for the sufferers of strokes, heart attacks, aneurysms and so much more. We pray that health returns to those who need it. We pray that peace defeats the purpose of war. We pray that hope fills the hearts, minds, and spirits of the many who need it around this world. We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, in the hope and strength of our Heavenly Father, through the Holy Spirit, Amen and so it shall be.
Opening Song: Thy Word ~ Amy Grant https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQ3PlqfX9IU
Sermon: Today we continue our work through the second letter Paul wrote to Timothy. We are working through the second chapter at this point. There’s a lot to cover in this letter and Paul draws references from the entire Bible with this. A bit of background. The letter was written by Paul to Timotheus of Lystra. This city was in Asia Minor and the fledgling church there was struggling at the beginning because of the many outside influences. Today, these struggles continue with a much larger foundation than there was for Timothy. However, that doesn’t mean we have it any easier than he did, or, for that matter, any of the Apostles and Disciples of Christ in the earliest years of the church. There are many who desperately want and need to understand Scripture, which is why I have been working so hard to cultivate relationships with the many men and women in our outreach ministries and in my daily life here where I live as well. So, let’s begin where we left off with the second letter Paul wrote to Timothy.
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV –Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
NIV – Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
It is important to be honest, humble, and faithful, Christians. This is what Paul is telling Timothy of Lystra and the congregation there. It’s very important that we listen to, hear, and portray the Word as Jesus spoke it. It is important not to take anything out of context to prevent confusion in the next generation, or even in the one we are standing in. That is why we spend so much time studying Scripture each Sunday. We all stray away from the path of truth and light that Jesus paved for us to follow. This is why we have to keep working toward a greater understanding. To do so, we find several references from Paul’s writing throughout the Old Testament Scrolls.
Joshua 1:8 KJV – This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
NIV – Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Psalm 119:105 KJV – Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
NIV – Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
Proverbs 2:1-5 KJV – My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
NIV
– My
son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning
your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—
indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you
look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you
will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
Ezra 7:10 KJV – For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.
NIV – For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the Lord, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel.
Nehemiah 8:8 KJV – So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.
NIV – They read from the Book of the Law of God, making it clear and giving the meaning so that the people understood what was being read.
Paul adds these three New Testament references from the writings of Luke, the Hebrew Prophets, and James the brother of Jesus.
Acts 17:11 KJV – These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
NIV – Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
Hebrews 4:12 KJV – For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
NIV – For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
James 1:22-25 KJV – But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
NIV –Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
Now, Paul has taught us quite a bit about godliness, and also about the prophane. He points out that the prophane and the seven troubles, including vanity, specifically in this case, quite often. This next line from the second letter to Timothy is no different.
2 Timothy 2:16 KJV –But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
NIV – Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly.
Paul goes back to the writings of King Solomon for inspiration here.
Proverbs 10:19 KJV – In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.
NIV – Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.
Proverbs 15:2 KJV – The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.
NIV – The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.
Proverbs 18:7 KJV – A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.
NIV – The mouths of fools are their undoing, and their lips are a snare to their very lives.
He adds one line from the gospel of Matthew with Jesus speaking. This is a warning that we all need to pay attention to.
Matthew 12:36 KJV – But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
NIV –But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.
Paul finishes off the references with three of the letters he had written to other churches all over the map.
1 Corinthians 15:33 KJV –Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
NIV – Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
Ephesians 5:6 KJV – Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
NIV – Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
Colossians 2:8 KJV – Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
NIV –See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.
False teachers would be a theme that permeates the entire New Testament, but it also has trails through the Old Testament as well. These false teachers epitomize the entirety of the seven troubles. Paul doesn’t waste words, and points out two of them found in Timothy’s congregation. Discernment takes practice, and rooting out the seven troubles takes hard work even to this very day. This is why Paul presents this warning to Timothy, he’d seen it many times before.
2 Timothy 2:17 KJV –And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
NIV – Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,
Paul goes back to the prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel who had their own issues with the soothsayers and false prophets that abounded in the world in the annals of history.
Jeremiah 23:16 KJV – Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord.
NIV – This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.
Ezekiel 13:3 KJV – Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
NIV – This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!
Paul then combines this with his firsthand viewpoint of the teachings of Jesus in the gospel of Matthew and also the Acts of the Apostles as shared by the gospel writer Luke.
Matthew 7:15 KJV – Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
NIV – “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
Matthew 16:6 KJV – Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
NIV – “Be careful,” Jesus said to them. “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
Acts 20:29-30 KJV – For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
NIV –I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.
These people Paul pointed out were straying away from the truth and had done some very bad things. Destroying the faith that had only just begun to build in the rest of the congregation in Lystra. It was important then, and just as important now, to make sure we are not listening to these false teachers, no matter which century they come from.
2 Timothy 2:18 KJV –Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
NIV – who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.
Now, false teachings about the final resurrection have been rampant for millennia at this point in time. We’ve seen it with the many cults, with leaders like David Koresh here in America and the massacre at Jonestown in Guyana. To this very day, we have had all these false prophecies and false prophets who have wrought havoc on society. This was all predicted long, long, before we read it in books other than the Bible. We see some of those predictions here in these Scrolls of the Old Testament.
Isaiah 26:19 KJV – Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
NIV – But your dead will live, Lord; their bodies will rise—let those who dwell in the dust wake up and shout for joy—your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead.
Ezekiel 37:1-14 KJV – The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.
NIV
– The hand of the Lord
was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the
middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and
forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley,
bones that were very dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these
bones live?”
I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear
the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to
these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to
life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you
and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life.
Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a
noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I
looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there
was no breath in them. Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy,
son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath,
from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” So
I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and
stood up on their feet—a vast army.
Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They
say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ Therefore
prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I
am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back
to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will know that I am
the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I
will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own
land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it,
declares the Lord.’”
Daniel 12:2 KJV – And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
NIV – Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.
Jesus Himself recognized many false teachers and wickedness of all views while He lived on this earth. Here He speaks with the Pharisees and Sadducees
Matthew 22:23-33 KJV – The
same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection,
and asked him,
Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall
marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a
wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
And last of all the woman died also.
Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they
all had her.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not
knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are
as the angels of God in heaven.
But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was
spoken unto you by God, saying,
I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not
the God of the dead, but of the living.
And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
NIV – That same day the Sadducees, who say
there is no resurrection, came to him with a question.
“Teacher,” they said, “Moses told us that if a man dies without having
children, his brother must marry the widow and raise up offspring for him.
Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died, and
since he had no children, he left his wife to his brother.
The same thing happened to the second and third brother, right on down to the
seventh.
Finally, the woman died.
Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all
of them were married to her?”
Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not
know the Scriptures or the power of God.
At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they
will be like the angels in heaven.
But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you,
‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?
He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”
When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at his teaching.
John 5:28-29 KJV – Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
NIV – “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.
People don’t want to believe in the resurrection because it means that they have to face the final judgment, no matter when it will be. This is something many fear, because they forget to ask God for forgiveness. They forget to ask God for help. They forget to get down on their knees and pray, and if they can’t manage that, even to bow their heads no matter where they are or what they’re in the midst of, just to pray for His guidance in that moment. We are human, and that’s why Jesus came down to this earth. He did so in the hope that we would all find our way down the path He created with His light of hope and unconditional love. Paul includes these last two references from the New Testament written by the gospel writers Luke and John the Beloved.
Acts 17:32 KJV – And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.
NIV – When they heard about the resurrection of the dead, some of them sneered, but others said, “We want to hear you again on this subject.”
Revelation 20:5-6 KJV – But
the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.
This is the first resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the
second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and
shall reign with him a thousand years.
NIV – (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
Our last verse from the second letter of Timothy is this one.
2 Timothy 2:19 KJV –Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
NIV – Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”
Paul references one verse from the Torah, and four verses from the prophetic and poetic scrolls of the Old Testament.
Numbers 16:15 KJV – And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the Lord, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
NIV – Then Moses became very angry and said to the Lord, “Do not accept their offering. I have not taken so much as a donkey from them, nor have I wronged any of them.”
Isaiah 26:13 KJV – O Lord our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.
NIV – Lord our God, other lords besides you have ruled over us, but your name alone do we honor.
Isaiah 44:5 KJV – One shall say, I am the Lord's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the Lord, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
NIV – Some will say, ‘I belong to the Lord’; others will call themselves by the name of Jacob; still others will write on their hand, ‘The Lord’s,’ and will take the name Israel.
Nahum 1:7 KJV – The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
NIV – The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,
Psalm 1:6 KJV – For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
NIV – For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.
Psalm 4:3 KJV – But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.
NIV – Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him.
Paul adds to this with three gospel verses where Jesus speaks as shared by Matthew and John the Beloved.
Matthew 7:23 KJV – And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
NIV – Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
John 10:14 KJV – I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
NIV – “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—
John 10:27 KJV – My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
NIV – My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
Paul wraps up the last of his references with his letter to Rome and also John the Beloved’s Revelation where Jesus shares a warning to one and all.
Romans 8:28 KJV – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
NIV – And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Revelation 3:12 KJV – Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
NIV – The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.
We all need to heed this warning that Paul shares with Timothy and be watchful. Be wary. Think before you speak. Listen before you come to conclusions. Hear what others around you are saying. Watch what you, yourself, are doing. These are very important for all of us to work on. Now, let’s show each other how faith and belief in God go hand in hand, and all of us have the opportunity to walk in the faithful steps of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The ability to do this requires us to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. If you are willing to do so, please leave me a note in the comments and I’ll be in touch. Now, that’s something to think about as we pray in the prayer that Jesus taught us.
Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the
kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
