Welcome to Covenant of Hope Ministries and our combined written and live Sunday sermon, which is normally broadcast every Sunday. I am Rev. Laura A. Neff. Our ministry was built on the truth of God’s love, sharing the Word of God, the Spirit of Yeshu Ha-Notzri or in English Jesus Christ of Nazareth in a way that we believe embraces the ways Jesus taught us to manage. We bring His Word to the many as opposed to the few, in order to continue the legacy created by the ministry of Jesus Christ.

Prayer List: We have many on our prayer list. Some wish to remain anonymous, and others only wish to have their first names mentioned. Our prayer list grows or changes every week. This is our current list.

-      We pray for my friend Paul, a colleague I’ve known for twenty years, who is healing after his heart surgery and is now working to solve an infection in his brain.

-      We continue to pray for my employer and his wife, Ed and Joy, who are quite ill at this time. Ed was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, and his wife Joy has been in the hospital with fluid in her lungs and other health issues. She was sent to rehabilitation around Wednesday of last week once again. She is on oxygen full time and 24-hour observation. Pray as they are being set up with full-time managed care. Pray also for their son Ed Jr. who has had a lot of back problems and is trying to hold off with surgery until retirement.

-      We are still praying today for my dear friend JB who has finally been given limited ability to travel away from home five days per week for very short distances. Please keep JB in prayer for continued therapy, and continued doctor visits after her broken hip and upper leg. Please pray about the source of her extreme weight loss so that it can be solved. Please start praying again for her husband EB as well with his health and his muscles and movement as he has serious mobility issues. Add her sister-in-law who is suffering from cancer at this time.

-      Evangelist Cal Jennings is doing better after the third degree burns to his fingertips. His fingers are finally starting to resemble fingers after the amputations. He is still healing very slowly and still has a while to go with the rehabilitation. Please pray for his healing and that his pain is treated like it should be treated, not as an afterthought.

-      We continue to pray for my Mama who has had a lot of issues lately in her life since losing my father and my two younger sisters. Please keep her in prayer for her anxieties, fears, and general well-being.

-      Pray for a friend of mine K.S. who has a lot going on in life right now and has been asking me tons of questions about those things going on. Pray that I might be able to answer those questions as time goes on.

-      We continue to pray for a friend of ours, Alexis, who continues to need to improve her current situation and is seeking to sell things she owns to help her with this. If you want more information, send me a private message and I’ll pass on the information.

-      We continue to pray for all sufferers and survivors of the various types of cancer, including several survivors of the disease, Evangelist Cal Jennings’ brother-in-law David Doyle, JB’s sister Debbie, Jerry, our friend Alexis, my Aunt Donna, my friend Kelly, and so many more.

-      We pray for those who are in the midst of treacherous weather, and other dangerous conditions around this world.

-      We pray for the various outreach ministries we have joined with, with their leaders, Pastor Jared Otieno, Pastor George Ototo, Pastor Stephen Okoth, Pastor Simon Peter Javaji, Pastor Amir Aneel, Sister Santhi Swaroopa, Pastor Duke Moenga, and others in Kissee, Nairobi, and other places in Kenya, Pakistan, and India.

-      We pray also for our American outreach ministries, including Rev. Lisa Tyler on the other side of Georgia from where I am and Rabbi Karen L. Hertzog with her ministry, Way Maker Messianic Jewish and Christian Center – USA as well.

* Happy belated birthday to my husband’s Uncle Larry and our niece Autumn, whose birthdays were yesterday.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, there are so many in our hearts and thoughts and so much going on in life that needs prayer. We pray for my friend Paul with his healing heart and brain infection. We continue to pray for Ed and Joy with their health issues, and their son Ed Jr. for his back issues, EB and JB and their many health issues. We continue to pray for EB and JB’s sister-in-law who has cancer as well. We pray for those who are in the path of the various hurricanes, floods, and tropical storms. We pray for the many who are injured and ill in our ministry, our friends, including Evangelist Cal, our family, and more. We pray for my Mama who has some anxiety going on right now with being alone for half the week, so we pray for her confidence and her patience. We pray for K.S. and what is going on in their life. We pray for the homeless and the helpless around this world. We pray for the many victims of violence, prejudice, and terrorism in this world. We pray for those still under the thumb of slavery and oppression. We pray for the unjustly persecuted and prosecuted. We pray for our friends and family who have been fighting cancer. We pray for those who survived cancer, including Kelly, Alexis, David, and Debbie and many more, that they continue to remain well. We pray for the nations at war. We pray for those celebrating birthdays this past week and in the week to come. We pray for all this in Your Holy Name through our Savior Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit, Amen and so it shall be.

Opening Song: Just As I Am

Sermon: Today we continue the fifteenth chapter of 1st Corinthians. Now, this section of seven verses gives us something to look forward to. Resurrection and what comes afterwards. When we are resurrected, will we look the same? Will we feel the same? Will we have the same thoughts and knowledge? Or, will we be completely different as Jesus was when He was resurrected. Remember? Nobody recognized our Savior upon His resurrection. He had to identify himself, not just with his dearest friends and colleagues, but with his own mother and siblings as well. So, if they didn’t recognize the man that had lived in their presence on earth for thirty-three years, would your mother recognize you after the resurrection except for that part of you that never changes? Would your father? Your spouse? Your children? Your siblings? Any of your friends? These are things we have to think about because those End Times are coming, whether we’re prepared or not. Not only that, but we cover over a third of all of Scripture this week. With that, let’s begin where we left off last Sunday.

1 Corinthians 15:34 KJV –Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

NIV – Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.

Come back to your senses. Now, that’s something important, because we have to be in the right frame of mind to keep our faith and belief intact. Stopping our sins is not easy, and the only way to do so is to keep our frame of mind where it should be, instead of where our humanity tends to allow it to wander. Yeah, not easy, because we are, after all, human by nature. Paul focuses on the New Testament points of view from John the Beloved and Peter with this, including the Word of our Savior.

John 5:14 KJV – Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

NIV –Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.”

1 Peter 1:13 KJV –Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

NIV –Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.

1 Peter 4:1-2 KJV –Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

NIV –Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. 2 As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.

1 Peter 4:7 KJV –But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

NIV –The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.

1 John 2:1 KJV –My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

NIV –My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

Now, this next question is a legitimate question that is answered in the gospels, and that’s something we have to build up towards. Remember, God told Adam and Eve and many others that they began as dust and would end as dust on this earth. Here is what Paul has to share next with the church at Corinth.

1 Corinthians 15:35 KJV –But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

NIV – But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?”

Now Paul has one prophetic Old Testament point of view to look at for this one.

Daniel 12:2 KJV – And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

NIV – Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.

Paul includes two gospel views from Luke and John the Beloved in the Word as shared by Jesus. He also shares points from James, the younger brother of Jesus, and the Apostle Peter.

Luke 24:39-43 KJV – Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
43 And he took it, and did eat before them.

NIV – Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”
40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. 41 And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish, 43 and he took it and ate it in their presence.

John 12:24 KJV – Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

NIV – Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.

James 2:18 KJV – Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

NIV –But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.

2 Peter 3:4 KJV –And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

NIV –They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”

Now, there is one word I caution everyone within hearing range about how to use it. No, it is not profanity. In fact, it seems to be the most ordinary word. That word is “fool”. You don’t want to be a “fool”, because it is as dangerous as being a sluggard, a blasphemer, even a traitor. Here is what Paul shares in this regard.

1 Corinthians 15:36 KJV –Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

NIV –How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.

Death is just one stage, not a final stage. That’s something people on earth do not realize. It is the final stage of the life we currently live here on earth. That much is true. However, in God’s world, death is only one phase, and it can lead to eternal life, or eternal damnation, which is our individual choice. Here are supporting Old Testament verses Paul points towards.

1 Samuel 2:6 KJV –The Lord killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

NIV – “The Lord brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up.

Ecclesiastes 11:6 KJV – In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

NIV – Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.

Paul includes three gospel viewpoints with the Word as shared by our Savior Yeshu Ha Notzri, Jesus Christ of Nazareth for this as well.

Matthew 23:17 KJV – Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?

NIV – You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred?

John 5:21 KJV – For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.

NIV – For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.

John 12:24 KJV – Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

NIV –Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.

Now Paul adds even more interesting points for us to think about. In this case, the work that we do starts small and can end up looking entirely different when all is said and done. Much like a seed turns into a plant, or flower, or grass, or crop. Much like a baby would transform to a child, to a teenager, then to an adult, and on to old age before death.

1 Corinthians 15:37 KJV –And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

NIV – When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else.

Paul has one single Old Testament Torah reference here.

Genesis 1:11-12 KJV – And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

NIV – Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Paul includes three New Testament references from the Word of our Savior Yeshu Ha Notzri, Jesus Christ of Nazareth in Matthew and Luke as well as from the brother of Jesus, James the Just in his thoughts here.

Matthew 13:31-32 KJV – Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

NIV – He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”

Luke 8:11-15 KJV – Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

NIV – “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. 14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

James 3:18 KJV – And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

NIV –Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

Much like every human, animal, fish, or bird, every plant, tree, or flower, has individual characteristics, and very different methods toward growth and growing. This is what Paul points out next.

1 Corinthians 15:38 KJV –But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

NIV – But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body.

Paul goes all the way back to the beginning to start off his references, and then includes the scroll of Job, which is often harder to read straight through than to provide reference within. He also includes the words of King David and his go-to prophet Isaiah.

Genesis 2:7 KJV – And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

NIV – Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Job 10:8-11 KJV – Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
9 Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
10 Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese?
11 Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.

NIV – “Your hands shaped me and made me. Will you now turn and destroy me?
9 Remember that you molded me like clay. Will you now turn me to dust again?
10 Did you not pour me out like milk and curdle me like cheese,
11 clothe me with skin and flesh and knit me together with bones and sinews?

Psalm 39:13 KJV – O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.

NIV – Look away from me, that I may enjoy life again before I depart and am no more.”

Isaiah 64:8 KJV – But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

NIV – Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Paul only utilizes one gospel reference in the words of our Savior Yeshu Ha Notzri, Jesus Christ of Nazareth from the gospel of Matthew.

Matthew 6:28-30 KJV – And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

NIV –“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?

Paul points out something that we should all easily recognize. No single person, animal, fish, bird, insect, is identical to another. Even twins have their differences, one of those is fingerprints in that case. We are unique even in the fact that we are all human. Birds have their uniqueness in that not all of them fly, yet they are all classified as birds. Some fish are just fish, but whales and dolphins are mammals even if they are in the ocean. That’s what makes God’s whole of creation so very unique from everything else ever conceived. Here is what Paul shares next in his letter to the church there at Corinth.

1 Corinthians 15:39 KJV –All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

NIV – Not all flesh is the same: People have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another.

Paul has four Old Testament references from the Poetic Scrolls.

Ecclesiastes 3:18-20 KJV – I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

NIV – I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. 19 Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. 20 All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return.

Job 12:7-10 KJV – But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?
10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

NIV – “But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
8 or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you.
9 Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this?
10 In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.

Psalm 104:24-25 KJV – O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

NIV – How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.
25 There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number—living things both large and small.

Psalm 139:13-16 KJV – For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

NIV –For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Paul adds this final thought to our study for us today. It is yet another good one for us to think about. This is in regard to the differences, and similarities, to celestial and terrestrial bodies. Like mountains, valleys, oceans, lakes, and streams, moon and stars and planets.

1 Corinthians 15:40 KJV –There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

NIV –There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.

Paul again goes back to the Torah, Poetic, and Prophetic Scrolls for his references.

Genesis 1:14-18 KJV – And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

NIV – And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.

Psalm 19:1 KJV – The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

NIV – The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Psalm 148:1 KJV – Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

NIV – Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights above.

Daniel 12:3 KJV – And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

NIV – Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

Paul shares two final New Testament points of references with the Hebrew prophets and John the Beloved’s Revelation.

Hebrews 1:10-12 KJV – And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: 11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

NIV – He also says, “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
11 They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment.
12 You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.”

Revelation 21:23 KJV – And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

NIV – The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

Knowing Scripture, and Understanding Scripture, are two different things. We can memorize verses, but going in depth with the Word and being able to connect one to another correctly is something else entirely. We will always have a lot to learn in the realm of Scripture. Paul wants us to think about how we learn Scripture. He wants us to think about who we associate with on a daily basis. He wants us to prepare for the worst and hope for the ultimate best. We have so much to learn about Him in this world that we live. Our very faith and belief in His creation of the path of salvation This is not just because of the fact that Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Yeshu Ha Noztri, died for our sins and was raised from the dead to judge the living and the dead at the right hand of the Father in heaven. There is so much to learn from Scripture, in the beautiful gift that is our Savior. That is what Paul brings forward through his letter to Corinth here. One of the best ways that we can bring more faith and belief together with others is by showing each other how faith and belief in God go hand in hand, and all of us have the opportunity to walk in the faithful steps of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The ability to do this requires us to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. If you are willing to do so, please leave me a note in the comments and I’ll be in touch. Now, that’s something to think about as we pray in the prayer that Jesus taught us.

Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
(Matthew 6:9-13)
